Mr. Rohana Kumara

Rohana Kumara joined LOLC Holdings PLC (Sri Lanka) in 1998 and has held several positions within the LOLC Group since then.  During the course of his career, he has obtained extensive experience in the fields of credit, operations, deposit mobilization, marketing, branch management and micro finance.  He served as the Chief Operating Officer of LOLC Micro Credit Ltd (LOMC) (Sri Lanka) for two years. Consequent to the amalgamation of LOMC with LOLC Finance PLC, Rohana was appointed to the Board of LOLC Development Finance PLC, Sri Lanka, as its Director/Chief Executive Officer, a position which he holds to-date.

In addition to his present responsibilities, he also serves as a Director in LOLC Management Indonesia, LOLC Ventura Indonesia, Pak-Oman Microfinance Bank in Pakistan and Key Micro Finance Bank in Kenya. Considering his vast knowledge and experience in the Micro finance sector, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka appointed Rohana as a Committee Member of the Steering Committee to study the Microfinance activities of Licensed Finance Companies of Sri Lanka, in 2021.

Rohana holds a MBA from Cardiff Metropolitant University UK , is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing(UK) and holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.

Mr. Charles Adolf

Charles Adolph is a certified public Accountant with CPA (T) since 2015 after getting his Diploma in accounting in 1994 and Banking Diploma since 2002. He also is a holder of Masters in Business Administration since 2004

Charles has worked with Tanzania revenue Authority, then with FINCA Tanzania as Finance Head and also acted as Managing Director in both FINCA Tanzania and FINCA Congo DRC before moving on to setting up his own accounting and auditing firm-Adolph Associates since 2008. Charles is also a founding Shareholder for Tujijenge since 2006 and has been on and off the Board in cycles.

Mr. Dulip Samaraweera

Chair Governance

Mr. Dulip Rasika Samaraweera has 2 decades of experience in the Financial Services Sector with extensive experience in the fields of financial management, strategic planning, process improvement, investments and acquisitions. A passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and holds a BSc in Physical Sciences specializing in statistics from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka.

Mr. Dulip commenced his career in 2004 as an Investment Researcher prior to joining the LOLC Group in 2007 where ?he gained much experience serving in a variety of positions before taking up a senior management position tasked with the global business expansion of the LOLC Group, primarily in banking and financial services.

Mr. Samaraweera currently operates as the Chairman of LOLC BANK PHILIPPINES Inc. whilst holding board positions in deposit-taking regulated financial institutions, non-deposit taking regulated financial institutions as well as non-financial services companies, and investment holding companies of the LOLC Group.

Mr. Elmo Jayathilaka

MR. Elmo Jayetileke is a Chartered Accountant and Banker. He has over 40 years Senior Management working experience in International Accounting Firms, Commercial Banks and Non - Bank Financial Institutions in Zambia and Malawi

Mr. Sundip Chotai

Board Member

Sundip Kumar, is the Director of Paprika Ltd, a firm in hospitality Industry under the brand name “The Daily” restaurant operating in Nairobi. He is the business Vision carrier and runs the business strategy, project management, human capital and partnerships. Previously, Sundipkumar, has innovated other business, restructured and sold out to other investors.

Sundip is experience in corporate governance and has been on the Board of different institutions

Mr. Michael Onesmo

Board Member

Michael Onesimo is a business development consultant, specializing in sustainability and organizational development. His work focuses on sustainability and service development. He serves in the financial, energy, water and livelihood sectors. Michael is also a founding Shareholder on and off Board in cycles.

Michael holds an advanced diploma in Public Administration, post graduate diploma in entrepreneurship and Masters in entrepreneurship with ESAMI.
